​The Multifunctional Structures Laboratory is located in Rathbone Hall, room 0028 and is part of the Alan Levin department of mechanical and nuclear engineering in the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering at Kansas State University. Surrounded by the beautiful rolling Flint Hills of northeastern Kansas, the K-State campus is located in the town of Manhattan (also called "The Little Apple" or "Manhappiness").
